If I edit an object's transparency, other users will see this change right? Not just myself?

Hi! I was wondering if I were to edit the transparency of an object to hide a part of a mesh with mod permissions (in this case it would be an earring set), that transparency setting (I would set it to 100 so it would be invisible) would be seen by other users as well and not just myself?

Transparency settings are seen exactly the same by everybody
