Back after 10 years, need some help

Hi everyone! I've been gone from Second Life for almost 10 years and I've come back to mesh bodies and mesh heads. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find a free body and head, until I buy lindens? I've been doing my research and I think I have the basics down so some suggestions on heads and bodies would be grateful. Thank you!

Lucybody has a mesh body that you can get for free by hitting their midnight mania board. i believe it's maitreya compatible.The bom relay costs something like 100 extra, so if you're okay with it being non-bom then go for it.http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Coral Reef/23/40/2003

Normally the best place to find a free mesh head is genus, but unfortunately they're not available at the moment. 

Here's an extensive list of cheap/free mesh heads and bodies. Note that a lot of stuff listed here is no longer available, but you might find something you like.

I might have a mesh head in my inventory whats no copy, but transferable. Ill search for it in a few hours. Send me a IM, if you would like to have a look at.
Its a nice face, but not Bento yet, what means, there are no face expressions.

And maybe you want to roam the marketplace by searching for the term "gift". You´ll find a lot of 1LD offers.
But keep in mind, that most of the new clothes are made for the most used mesh bodys like Maitreya or Tonic and wont fit on a lucy body without any heavy shape modifications.

It is indeed Maitreya compatible one of my alts uses the body from the Midnight Mania and is happy with the included lightest skin tone as it's virtually a perfect match to the system head skin it uses. it has a lot more alpha cuts front and back than the actual Maitreya body and also has alpha cuts in the HUD for the body sides. My alt in the pic is wearing trousers from Addams and shirt from Pixicat both Maitreya sized zero shape mods just use of alpha cuts in the HUD other Maitreya sized stuff i've tried on it that more revealing more likely to have fit issues have fit perfectly on the free lucybody

One of my alts got the free Lucybody too and it's great, it fits Maitreya clothes very well, and Slink shoes. (I wonder how much money they've made by selling the BOM-converters - that's either evil or pure genius).

There is a free head at the Free Dove which is BOM-only. There's also a free e-body there too (which has limited clothing support).  There's a free Altamura head/body combo at London City and Ajuda Brasil, but the free Altamura bodies cannot be modified in any way (can't change skin or add makeup etc).

There is also a dollarbie head & body by Sweet's on the MP; this is based on Ruth 2 but has an added alpha hud. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/213446
