Local Chat

Is it possible to recover chats from the day before that were in local chat? I do have some things sent to me via email but is there a better way to retrieve this data?

Firestorm can log local chat, but you have to turn it on in the settings.

In the SL viewer there's the log and transcripts settings in Preferences/Chat (Save, at the bottom of the window). Not sure what the default setting is.

I think all the viewers have preference settings to allow the saving of chat logs, and I think the default is to save them (I don't save them, and it seems like I always have to turn that off when trying a new viewer or after doing a clean install of a viewer).  If you find the Preference pane that allows you to manage the settings and location, you should be able to see what the default location is set to, or there may be a button to take you to the location.
