login error Viewer wont load past 26% "Requesting Region Capabilities"

Hi there! So i have been playing SL with absolutely no problems for a long time now. I was inworld about 2 days ago with absolutely no problems, but yesterday when i tried to log in my viewer got stuck on 26% loading region capabilities. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried multiple laptops, different viewers, speed test, cleared cache, reboots of laptop and router, reinstalled, pinged SL (everything is good) turned firewall off even and NOTHING has fixed it. the ping suggests the error is on SL's end but the site reports no problems. Can anyone help please?

Also, nothing has updated or changed recently on my software/hardware so thats not it either.

have you tried logging in to a different region ?

I have yes, even tried on my other laptop on a completely different viewer with no luck.

Do you have an alt you could try? If not, perhaps make a new avatar for testing.

If you're not premium, it may be worthwhile subscribing for one month to access Support Live Chat - make sure you have tried with the Official Viewer before you do as I believe that's the first thing they tell you.

you probably don't want to hear this then. Whenever it happens on every region on any viewer to me then its my network connection. Which can be anything from router fail (when I ended up buying another one,  to some server somewhere between me and Linden and I end up getting routed thru Singapore and Europe, to some random thing that Microsoft Update did when it shouldn't, to some anti-virus update, to one time it was a wonky cable

but before I do anything then I delete all the viewers I have installed and start again with a fresh clean install of the Linden viewer. When that isn't it then start with resetting my router to the factory settings. Then if that isn't it then start rolling back anything that may have got installed since it last worked
