my avatar stay online

hello 

 

i dont understand ....my avatar stay online ....but im not online! so impossible to log in on pc but... i can log in on my phone ! can you help me please  ?

When you say you are logging in on your phone, are you using a browser to log in on the website, or are you using an actual SL viewer like Lumiya?

I'm assuming it's the former - in that case what's happened is you're "ghosted". This means that something went wrong during your last log-out so the region thinks you're logged in.  There are a couple of things to try that sometimes work to knock a ghosted avatar offline; asking someone to send you an IM or pay you L$1 sometimes works. If it doesn't, you will certainly get knocked offline the next time the region you're in is restarted.  If you're stuck on private estate land you can ask the landowner to re-start the region. If you're on mainland you can submit a support ticket and Linden Lab will do it. 

But... if you're able to log in inworld with Lumiya but not your regular viewer, it's not "ghosting" that's the problem; that sounds like an issue with your regular viewer installation. In which case I would suggest a clean reinstall.

Lumiya keeps you logged in, even when you close it. So you have to really log out first, THEN try to log in on your PC

Normally, when you try to log in but your avatar is already logged in, your viewer should tell you "A logout is currently in progress" or something along those lines. Basically, logging in while your avatar is already logged in should force the avatar to begin to log out. Waiting a minute and trying again should get you back in.

But I assume you've waited more than a couple minutes, which means the avatar is stuck, and you should contact Linden Lab support.

j'ai téléchargé le viewer "secondlife" et cela fonctionne ...le problème vient donc de firestorm ....

Once upon a time this 'ghosting' was common. The problem causing it got fixed and is now rare. 

Many of us have Alts, a second account/avatar. We would use that to login and often go to the location of our ghost. It was kinda fun and while there we could IM, chat, or push the avatar. 

But, when the stunts fail, file a support ticket under login problem. It usually gets handled quickly.
