Arduenn Schwartzman Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Hi. When I highlight the physics shapes of a build, I suddenly see orange. Can anyone tell me what this means?
Ardy Lay Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 (edited) Let me see, the Second Life Viewer documentation says... Wait a minute. Where is the documentation? When I search Knowledge Base and get over twenty four thousand results with your post at the top and no applicable answers below I have to assume it is your turn to make something up because the is no documentation. Aquila Kytori Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 (edited) Physics is probably fine. In this case it looks like an example of the orange colour indicating the render complexity of that part of the build. A link to an earlier thread on the same subject : https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/410243-lods-affecting-physics-complexity/?tab=comments#comment-1660007 Edited August 14, 2020 by Aquila Kytori 2

I dunno. For 'physics orange', I got 14 results with no reference to orange here: https://community.secondlife.com/search/?q=physics orange&quick=1&type=cms_records3&nodes=30 And then, with the subsequent, suggested 'physics AND orange' search option, nothing at all: https://community.secondlife.com/search/?q=physics orange&type=cms_records3&nodes=30&updated_after=any&sortby=relevancy&search_and_or=and So that was why I was asking. Maybe you can make something up below to educate us mere mortals on how to use the search option?
Ardy Lay Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 I quit asking LL questions about the viewer after I got told the source code is the documentation. Good luck.

Arduenn Schwartzman Posted August 14, 2020 Author Posted August 14, 2020 Looks like the creator should have chopped up the orange object into smaller child objects. Thanks, people.
Jaimy Hancroft Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 🧐 Thx was wondering what that was too lol On 8/14/2020 at 2:57 PM, Mollymews said: Beq explains here: http://beqsother.blogspot.com/2017/10/blue-sky-thinking-physics-view-explained.html 1

Thanks, people. You mean all that orange/yellow is a single object??? If so, yes, they most definitely should. No need for fancy coloured physics shape displays to see something as obvious as that.
