Is it possible to change my account name to Cliffton Downes?
first name = Cliffton
Second name = Downes

The way that the new name deal works, you can only choose last names from an approved list.  See

You can't do that; "Downes" is not one of the available last names.

However, you CAN create a Display Name, "Clifton Downes", for free.  Click the little wrench icon in your profile in world.
