Hey there Inoxcro Vyper,

I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering an issue with another Resident in Second Life.

Please be aware that when engaging on the forums we do not allow naming other Residents and accusing them of bad behavior. The forums are not the appropriate place to air these issues out.

If you are experiencing abuse from another user, we strongly encourage you to use the Block/Mute features and file an Abuse Report if you have not done so already. Once you have filed a report, we will be able to investigate further and take the appropriate action if we can confirm a violation of the Terms of Service took place.

For more information on Abuse Reports, please read our Guide to Filing an Abuse Report in the Second Life Knowledge Base:

You are talking to other Residents here and we do not have the power to do anything.   You need to submit an Abuse Report (from the viewer menu) inworld for this.

I prefer to warn all the players so that in their turn they do the same as me to avoid problems of the same kind

Read the Community Guidelines carefully:

"Personal Information: Sharing someone else’s personal information—of any kind—is not allowed. Disclosing another Resident’s real-world identity, contact information, or the text of interpersonal communications (chat, email, IM) is not allowed."

I suggest that you remove the person's name from your post before the moderators notice it.

The reason we are giving you rules is that typically LL only comes to the forums to enforce forum rules.  They do not handle any issues from here.  This is not a "reporting mechanism".  For the most part, this is a Resident-to-Resident forum.

Sorry, but you are not allowed to do that here in the forums -- no Name & Shame

Inoxcro, we are residents, just like you, and have no ability to address your complaint.

You have been warned to remove the name of the person from your post, as you are violating the SL Community Guidelines.  Here is the relevant passage from those guidelines...

"Interpersonal Disputes or Personal Negative Commentary: If you have a personal disagreement, do not post about it on the Second Life community pages. Residents who have personal differences have other channels of communication available to them — private messaging in the forums, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life."

If  you refuse to remove the person's name, it's likely that your post will be removed and you will get, at the very least, a warning from the moderators. You have returned to the thread after Rolig's warning, so you are aware of your violation. Please remove the offending name from your post before YOU are the one who gets punished.

Ah yes, another person who feels they need to scream their point of view, ignore the well meaning advice of others and refuse to use the procedures in place to maybe actually do something about the issue. Almost makes me feel that whatever got the op's panties in a bunch was brought on by themselves.
