I would like it if someone could name some places where an avatar like mine would be welcome, particularly music clubs. I have an anime avatar but its not the normal anime avatar, even. I'm a female anime character, but I'm not using Utilizator or Kemono, or anything like that. I stand out even among anime avies, I admit it, but I also like the way I look and don't want to change it just so I access some places. I've been asked to leave a few times in the past because I don't fit the sim's aesthetic. It was never a hostile or nasty message, just a simple IM asking me to leave and well, their sim = their rules. I'd like to find some spots (that aren't shopping hubs) that would accept my presence without a bat of an eyelid. Please only recommend General to Mature-rated places only, please.

You can check out Noxia & grimly's if you like they have a mix of all sorts even myself 👽
Both sims are not necessarily Dance places however they do have music events time to time & you can dance randomly if that is what you like to do!

Noxia (Role play sim set in the year 2044) Rated Adult

Brazen Head.  They have a daily schedule of live performers.  As far as I can see, they don't have seem to have rules on avatar appearances.  I went to attend a show there as a child avie once and gotten no complaints. The region is rated M.

One of my favourite hangouts is Marcel's Bistro; while most visitors are human by no means all of them are, and non-human/unusual avatars are welcome. One of the regulars is a feral fox, another is a dinkie cat, another is a cross-dressing demon. The only rule about avatar appearance is don't be topless or nude, as it's G-rated land.  It's a friendly, chatty place, mainly European crowd. Events are at 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (with occasional "specials" on other days).  Music is eclectic with some emphasis on world music but it runs the range from jazz to modern indie. The only genres you're not likely to find there is modern dance music, hip-hop and rap.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Morgan/73/96/26 <-- Beehive is 100% accepting.  It doesn't matter WHAT avatar you're wearing as long as you're not breaking SL ToS and you're not some oddball griefer... :)

We have music days, we have games - we have rides, guh.. we even have a couple of shops on the ground, there's an event up in the sky..
There is no "AESTHETIC" to our place.

and while it was "nice" someone was 'nice enough to message you' - that still wasn't fair, as they should've had it in their rules or something or other rather than what they did :(
