I am ambivalent. It is cool. It isn't for me to do personally (like others have said). I don't think it is too uncanny valley, but maybe it would be in person in SL. I'm pretty much "you do you" for SL. :) I'm also with whoever said a reverse app???! To make me look like my avatar irl. Oh god yes, especially the perfect hair, makeup, skin 24/7.  I'd give up a kidney and a few other body parts for that!

The idea is pretty simple. You let your phone stand on a flat surface and record a video of yourself turning around:

This might be exactly what I need. I want to have an avatar just like me in the game.
