LONG periods of time without user group meetings.

We haven't had a Governance meeting this entire month.

Now at the last second (48 hours) there won't be a Content Creators meeting, slating a month without one.

Both of these meetings have only one MC.

Can we really blame vacations on such long periods of time of no meetings?

Or are aliens investors to blame? 🤔

P.S. I'm not "too" worried....yet...

Nor am I saying anything shady is going on...

If investors are to blame it wouldn't be because of some shady reason. Changing financial backing for a company can mean a lot of internal movement and work, so it would make sense the Lindens are really busy this month!

I went to the last G Team meeting. Two people showed up. Well, a VACUUM can't exist. If those pesky Linden's don't show next week, Jumpy gonna run the meetin'! WATCH!

I been to enough of 'em to know EXACTLY what to do. So, I'ma help The Lab out!

If nothing else, I can teach ya'll how to be as BAD as ya wanna be and NOT get in any trouble AT ALL!

Yes, that was a surprise. I went there, nobody was there, then checked the schedule and found it had been cancelled. Not too happy about that.

I rarely go to Governance, but I've wanted to recently. I want to pitch the idea of an annual mainland cleanup - 2 weeks when users are encouraged to report stuff that needs attention. Junk in the sky, plywood objects left lying around, oversize ad boards, encroachments on Linden roads, abandoned cars, greeters which create popups for people on roads, signboards and vendors which have lost their connection to whatever was controlling them, noise generators... LL reserves the right to curate mainland, but doesn't do so often. Once in a while, cleanup is needed.  Stuff that actually violates the TOS can be handled via the AR process. For the marginal stuff, just send out notices: "Your object "Object", at Da Boom <100,200,50> has been reported as abandoned debris. If you want to keep it, reply to this message, move the object, or change its properties. If no action is taken within 4 weeks, the object will be returned to your inventory. Thanks, Linden Lab." Four weeks later, a program does the cleanup.

I was COOL with the gteam. zara was on my list when she worked at the lab. Every Friday she'd have a party with a bunch off other Lindens and some other folks....celebrating being off for the weekend I suppose.

She was gonna be a judge at this contest I was holding, until she found out it was a stripper contest, and she had to decline. We were all disappointed.

But to get back on point, we NEED these gteam meetings so we can know EXACTLY what the limits are as far as behavior goes in SL...not to snitch out  abandoned prims on mainland hahahahahahaha
