group issue

I was in a group then somehow I left it I guess but now I get the invites to join but nothing happens.

not past group limit, reset/cleared cache, and I have not went from premium to basic.

Is another group member inviting you to the group? If so: are they trying to invite you to a specific group role? 

Or are you following a link in local chat?

it is the group owner for a certain role and it is  sent through IM

Let them try again with the plain standard Everyone role and have your desired role assigned after you joined. That might work.

if by this you mean that you want to be invited back into the group as a group owner then only another group owner can invite you into the owner role

if this is the case and there is no available other group owner to do this then if there is a group officer who has ability to add/edit/change group roles then have them invite you into the group in the same role as they have

then using the role powers go down and tick every box in Abilities. This will give you the same abilities as a group owner other than being able to invite another person into the group as a group owner

i have had to do this myself when I left a group by mistake when I was the only group owner
