How are people ghosting voice chat after muting???

Okay i'm getting sick of this... People who i have muted, ghosting their voice so i can still hear them talking???

 

How the hell do they do that and how do i stop it????

 

Somebody told me it has something to do with teleporting?

Probably feed back from someone elses mic. If you own the land, disable talking, then re enable it.

If this doesnt work, then there probably something wrong with SL voice. Try hitting the arrow next to the speak button and figure out which avatar the voice is coming from, and then turn them down

No they told me they're using ghosting using some sort of teleport glitch.  They told me that they know what they're doing and were doing it on purpous.

 

It's not feedback or lag, it's something they did intentionally...  They made that quite clear.

AR Them and turn off voice completely (rightclick the bottom toolbar of V2 and click Speak Button)

I totally agree with Vengeance... AR them. Otherwise get your SL friends to use Skype for the time being and disable voice in SL.

Are you chatting in a public area with lots of people? It could be they have a 2nd avatar in the crowd with voice that you haven't muted. However, if someone is really bypassing the mute through a bug you should file a bug report.

Perhaps you shouldn't try to harrass and mute as many people as possible? I think your blocklist must be overflowing now ...
