I have taken pictures from various of destination place, myself, and mix of decoration things since I had started life in SL. I was wonder that I can use them for my commercial use in RL? Like the photos I took from the RL, the copyright of the photos automatically are mine. But what's about in SL? Anyone can help me?

depends where you are, this is not everywhere automaticly obtained.

For your question it's wise to get a answer by a prof. Most use in and out SL is in non commercial setting, others rules apply to commercial.

Aside from real life laws which certainly could vary, be sure and read the photo and machinima policy which are part of the  SL terms of service that you signed.  In general photos can be taken with avatars without their permission (photos only - not machinima).  BUT sim owners have the ability to deny use of photos taken in their regions. This info "should" be in the covenant if possible. Other times it is posted, usually at the entrance.  If you are planning on using photos taken on other people's land, then it would probably be good to get their permission in writing.  It would probably be wise to get release forms from any avatars also --- just to cover yourself.

Good advice from Chic about finding out the region/parcel owner's preferences.  But I don't think that the presence or absence of a release form from an avatar will have any legal weight one way or the other.  It's the same as with contracts...a "contract" between SL avatars has no legal significance, because the parties to the contract are anonymous.

This is why LL does not get involved in resident-to-resident disputes.

I, once, opened a case, asked LL about the copyright. They said they claimed only their logo. For other things ask the creators. I thought they think they are virtual world server. They don't take response in during resident arguments.  But 'ask the creators'!?, I haven't planned to use their products or services ; mesh, texture, coding, etc, for commercial use. Just only the photos, mixed of thing, as picture, I took somewhere.

Anyways, thank you all.
