Tami Amat Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I've just downloaded Blender and am learning modeling (mesh) and sculpting. I know there may be basic presets that will help when using Blender and especially exporting. Does anyone have any suggestions, or tips?
Chic Aeon Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I suggest leaving the default settings while you are first learning. The more you change from those, the more likely the interface will look differently in any tutorials you watch. Then after you understand what things do, you can devise a workspace that works for you. 1

Well there is MY series for SL but it is the 2.79 interface so could definitely be confusing. A lot of folks are still watching though. Perhaps if you learned the basic interface well then you could watch "as videos" for information. The ideas are all there, just the clicks and things won't always work. I am not moving to 2.8 (maybe never) so this series is the last for me I think. Took a day to make each video with all the post processing and added text etc. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnUjXtZrc64laa7-1NUSY8pjXedwQj7kn 1

LOL Just NOW realized who you are. I swear this pandemic has me upside down! Thank you! I’ll certainly check out your other videos. 1
