How to remove Eyes?

So when I first made second life it came with the default eyes, and was wondering if there was a way to remove them or hide them? (btw I am wearing BOM) I bought new eyes but it actually looks like I'm wearing two eyes, the default eye is slightly overlaying the new eyes. How should I go about to fix this?

The classic avatar eyes cannot be removed, they're one of the "Essential Four" items needed to define a minimum avatar (shape, skin, eyes, hair base).  You can wear prim eyes with a Mesh head, and when you do, you should also wear an "eye alpha" item that will either come with the eyes, or come with the head.
