Soooo...  When I first started trying to learn CTS wardrobe there was a lot of trial and error.  There are people that do seem to use it and like it.  But on utube I still don't find what I call 'a lot' of CTS wardrobe videos to watch.  In back of my mind for some time now I've been wanting to make my own little series on using cts wardrobe with my own little twist and suggestions, etc.  Its still a work in process.  Check it out...

its a good wms for those that choose to use it and learn how to use it correctly. its better than trying to rely on rlv or a bdsm collar for that purpose too.

In my sector (IT/Distribution), "WMS" means "Warehouse Management System".  What does it mean here?

wardrobe management system. used to make finding outfits/avatars/accessories easier to wear then having to search through maybe 20K+ objects to find the one thing or outfit wanted. it for those that do not like having to take the time to create hundreds or thousands of possible outfit combinations in the viewers outfit section.

there are inventory management and storage systems that can be used too different then that one.

If you wish to leave any comments on the actual utube video please feel free.  It would help out I feel to get the conversation going on the utube platform.

The best way I have found to get into CTS Wardrobe (and I am a BIG Fan of it) is to join their Discord group.  We have just about given up on in-world discussion groups.

The permanent invite is https://discord.gg/Z8kUVzh  and there is a list of shared wardrobes (mine, for instance) there.

I never entirely understood why you'd use this instead of saved outfits. That takes three or four clicks. This, quite a few more - plus all the prepwork to actually take screenshots of each and every outfit. And that's assuming all your outfits are for one body!

If all you ever want to do is change from one outfit to another, then fine, go ahead and stick with your saved outfits (which is much improved since a picture could be added).

Many of us will want to find, for example, that perfect skirt to go with this new blouse, and that is nigh on impossible without a decent wardrobe system. With a couple of quick selections, I have a page of pictures of all my [length], [style], [colour group], [whatever else] skirts in front of me to choose from. That's the sort of use that gets really useful.

Its just a bit sad to find that I don't own that perfect skirt yet!

I have a 80 000 item inventory. And 1-3 times every year I trash between 2000 and 10 000 items. I am sure I would have 250 000 items now if I didn't do it.

So to setup - let us say I have 10 000 items including hairs and footwear. Or 2000 that I will actually wear. The rest is things I do not dare to trash yet. I must create folders for every thing. And subfolders. I was just looking at 5 short videos on Youtube.

I could buy this wardrobe, but after making, let us say 100 folders, I would stop and let the wardrobe sit unused. Or trash it because I was so worn out.

I looked at what the creator has to offer, and I saw a (CTS) Archive - Inventory Storage and Safe Keeping. Would this make a setup easier (fewer steps) or would it be more steps?
