Spartin Parx Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 I apologize in advance for not using proper technical wording: Normally I create clothing in "T-Pose", However, today I am attempting to make clothing in "A pose". I have attempted to research this and have yet to find a helpful answer. This is what I have: 1. Dev kit Model 2. My mesh item 3. Adjust model into pose to match mesh item (made in A pose) 4. Applied Rotation and scale/ Data Transfer/Skinning: In Second image, I chose "meshes" when binding and as you can see there not lining up. Can you please offer any suggestions. I apologize for my lack of knowledge in this area 8(
Fanta UwU Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 This is actually a common problem. How I know how the problem can be fixed by NOT using the sliders button or if there is a button that had something to do about binding to rest pose but that was a Avastar button in Avastar 1 (the nonbento) I’m not familiar with the Avastar for 2.8. I an basing it off of 2.79 Avastar.
Spartin Parx Posted July 10, 2020 Author Posted July 10, 2020 Thank you for the feedback Muiregwen♥ I will do my best to research it more based on your advice.
Kyrah Abattoir Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 I'd make that crotch a bit higher cause it's looking a bit weird right now. As others will probably tell you, if the body was made in T pose you are supposed to model in T pose, SL doesn't have joint volume preservation and you will not be able to match rigging deformations if you don't use the same bind pose as the body you are modeling for.
