8gb is not nearly enough system ram in today's world for it to be comfy enough to use.   16gb ram at the minimum.

Asus TUF FX505DT, isn't it? How much? The reviews don't sound too shabby on it, but bear in mind that Ryzen 4000 are hitting the mobile market.

Apparently, you can add extra RAM to it, which would be highly recommended (DDR4-2666), not just for the sake of having 16GB in total, but Ryzen highly benefits from 2 RAM modules.

Yea! I was definitely going to upgrade the ram a little after buying the laptop. And it’s 699 :) and May I ask what you mean by the Ryzen 400 comment?

Ryzen 4000 = new CPU generation.

 

The TUF was on sale for cheaper and it should probably be on clearance sale.
