Hi I am new to second life. I am 3 months old. Posting here for a friend that is having an issue when she is tied up with her legs bugging when using the RR Anim HUD & using it to reposition her legs. Or if the locker tries to re-position her legs. What the bug does is make it seem like there are no restraints on giving her ability to sit on objects normally, aswell as walk normally too instead of hopping. It also cause changing restraints to also not work properly in visual looks. This is causing her to have to relog to sort the issue just wondering if there are anyways to help her with this. cause like said fairly new to SL.  Oh she also uses the Firestorm Viewer & her is a list of the items she is wearing if this helps. Can any1 help us with this issue or may have experienced it themself & found a solution to it.

Can she try using a different viewer and see if it matters? If it does, then she's probably using Firestorm's built-in Animation Override (AO) with higher priority animations than the ones in the "RR Anim HUD" -- about which I know nothing. In fact, there's a host of attachments listed that might also have competing scripted animations, so if it's not Firestorm, can she try with literally no other attachments at all, just as a test?

If it's animation priority that's causing the problem, it won't mean changing viewers or even switching from its AO or any of the attachments, but it could be a long process of elimination to figure out which sources -- and then which animations -- are to blame.

(There are advanced/developer viewer options for debugging animation combinations, but they're limited, confusing, and in this case I don't think they'd help beyond the exhaustive trial-and-error approach.)

Ok she not been on for a little while but big began to happen on me. After some testing & suspicions to what may be cause well I think I found the culpret. which is ever so simple. AO bottun in bottom corner of Firestorm needs to be clicked off as do any other Animation huds. For example tuty Beneto Lucky girl. Animations on hud need to be switched off. tested vigurously & seems when both these were off togther the leg bug didn;t occur once. no matter how many times the legs were changed in position. however switch AO oN Firstorm back on issue occurs again. but takes sometime to kick in. Keep that off & Switch avi animation hud on for walking & sitting Issue occurs little bit faster than with the AO of Firestorm on but not by much Switch both on togther & well issue occurs again & fairly quickly too.

So, dueling AOs.  That's not too surprising. As Qie explained, animations are all assigned a priority level when they are uploaded to SL.  Higher priority animations will override lower priority ones.  If you are running two or more AOs that have anims created with different priorities, you should expect that they will interfere with each other.  There's no "bug" in this behavior.  The priority system is doing what it is supposed to.  The only ways that you can avoid conflicts are either to (1) hand pick the anims that are in each of your AOs or (2) turn off ones that you don't want causing a problem at the moment.  As you've discovered, choice #2 is by far the easiest one.
