Is it possible to do so? Cuz when i move, my body parts keep sticking out from my clothings. But when i wear that clothing's alpha layer, it still doesn't work (I'm using a mesh body btw).

It is so many different mesh bodies. Copy the exact name and post it, so we can try and help. It is different ways to hide parts of the body for each brand.

Hmm. That one is unknown to me. Does one alpha layer show up? If it does, you have no problems. Click "Add", not "Wear" for the next alpha layers. "Wear" takes off the layer you have on and replaces it with the next one. "Add" adds layers, so you can wear up to 62 layers. I hope it works, if not, we will investigate further.

The ad says it has a notecard with instructions. Did you read it?

I've read it.

I've had the 2 alpha layers on me, but the one for my clothing doesn't seem to work as my body part still sticks out when I'm walking.

(The alpha for my mesh body is working, but the one for my clothing is not, if u don't understand what I mean)

with mesh bodies, non BOM, ( because the mp tells only the head is BOM,  you only need the body hiding alpha, the clothes alpha layers do nothing. You need to use the hud to hide the bodyparts/cuts

The advertisement says it is BoM ready. You shall not hide your body with an alpha layer. When you take off the body, are you invisible? If you are, you must read the notecard again and see it it says "How to enable BoM".

The only way alpha layer for clothes work, is with BoM.

If you do NOT want the head, use your own shape. The under is for body only.

Detach all from your avatar and take off all alpha layers.

From the main folder, wear only: {R} Stacy's Full Av Basic Head Skin (Must wear with shape!)

Open the folder that say: Bakes on Mesh version.

Add all the parts from this folder, but not the gloves and socks. You can use them if you wear other skins that has painted on nails that does not match the mesh feet and hands. This Stacys skin does not have this issue.

You should now have your default head with a BoM body.

If you will wear the head,:

Open the folder that says BOM mesh head. Wear it, but not the head alpha. Wear the {R} Stacy's Full Av Shape Backup Short Legs  Head Shape. You need an alpha layer for the eyes. If you do not have one, you can use one like this: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/MP-Eye-Alpha-for-Classic-Avatar-Head-Copy-FREE-GIFT/18363677

Add the mesh eyes and edit them in place.

BUT: Alpha layers did NOT work for me either. It was only 1 Linden, so I bought it to test. The reviews shows that it worked for all the others. Can it be a bug in Second Life itself today?

Isn't that the Midnight Mania "free body" which needs an 200 L$ish add-on for BoM support?

no, that's Lucybody.

This probably means that the body has Alpha mode set to "None". It should be on Blended or Masked (Masked is better, no alpha glitches with hair. You need a cutoff of 1 or more). If it's mod, you can change this yourself. If it's no-mod, you'll need to contact the seller to request a correction.

Let me summarize: If using a mesh avatar without BOM, you need one alpha, to hide the classic body completely, and, if you're also wearing a mesh head, the mesh classic head as well. To hide parts of the avatar to keep them from showing through clothes, you use the HUD that came with the body.

If using a mesh avatar with BOM, you have to first turn on BOM using the HUD for the body. You do not wear the body-hiding alpha. You can use alphas to hide body parts that show through clothes. Alphas are fairly easy to make yourself. I have not made any yet to use with BOM, but before I had a mesh body, I made many for use with my classic avatar and mesh clothing.

Those old system layer alphas and the new BOM alphas are the same exact thing. I use old pre-mesh alphas with my BOM body.

Slink points out that if you feather the edge of the alpha when making it, there is an adjustment in the Slink body HUD that will let you tweak the alpha size. I've found that handy.
