Selecting a Prim When it is Buried Among Other Prims

I created a prim (a disk) and placed it on my land near my house.  Now if I try to click on to select/edit the disk only the house is selected.  Is there a way to deselect the house and toggle to select the disk?  I even zoom right in and still the house is selected.

Sure, I can move the house UP temporarily out of the way to select the disk prim but I don't want to do that every time.

You should be able to drag a selection rectangle around the object (as long as your Build/Edit tool is set to "Select Surrounding" ).  Then unselect anything that is not the object you are looking for until only that one object is left.

Makes no difference.  The same tool is in all viewers.

In Firestorm you can use Area Search (from the World menu in the top bar) to find the object (searching by it's name, or your own name as owner or creator), then right click and select Edit and/or Zoom.
