ATI Radeon 4250 - is it okay to play Second Life?

Hey all,

 

Is the ATI Radeon 4250 okay to play Second Life?  I haven't been on in forever because my desktop graphics card is just about spent and I am getting an asus 1215t to go to school with until the job market goes back up and I can afford a real computer.

Hello Mandichi. If we follow the recommended system requirements for Second Life you need a ATI Randeon 4850 or 4870 or 4890. Have a look at the following link:

Yes it can run SL fine.  But you will need to set your graphics quality to medium and maybe Low for most things.  And don't even dream of turning on AntiAliasing.  It will get you 45fps in an empty place, 14fps in a crowded dance floor.
