I witnessed the spaceflight today, and they had a view of Earth as the rocket left the surface. Man, Earth is beautiful from space!

It's beautiful from down here too. Just don't get so discouraged by the ugly parts that you forget the rest.

Gopi, have you tried VR, specifically the VR experience where you are out on a space station staring down at the earth below?  It is totally amazing, I mean you feel like you're really there. A little frightening really, but still beautiful.

I have yet to try virtual reality, but I may give that experience a shot!
