Why is there no 'Male Rocker Outfit' Avatar when you start this game?

And to be honnest: This is not a full & correct answer to my question: then why choose at start if i can change later multi sorts of Avatars Clones?

Because there is this Male Rocker/Biker Clone outfit in almost every Freebie Mall. :smileyvery-happy:

EDIT: The avatars you can choose at start are only something to begin with. You can change your avatar to whatever you like to. Strangely, many guys get that Biker Guy from one of the freebie malls and stay like that. That's what I meant with clones.

He is in your Library > Clothing > Initial Outfits - 2nd from the bottom of the list.

If you are in Basic mode, logout and back in on Advance mode.

Full and correct answers:

1.  Because that's the way Linden Lab decided it should be.  We're residents, they don't ask us.

2.  You have to choose something as a starting appearance and finding/buying/getting and changing new clothes is too hard for most people when they are starting.  The starter-avatars are there to keep (most of) the uninformed happy.

3.  LL say they'll be adding more starter-avatars, for what it's worth.

Van, there had to be some limit to the number of choices there or it would get confusing for everyone.  As for why you choose at start it is quite simple, it is a lot better doing that than having everyone male and female rez in world as a generic form.

The purpose of the starter avatars is to give people a choice of socially acceptable avatars and outfits that they can feel comfortable in while they get their bearings in world without having to immidiately have the pressure of rusing about the grid finding and customising their avatar.
