Saltiveratia
I have no bunch of items, and almost have no reviews besides one. And buyer told lies - item always had cmt permissions (I fixed it to mt last night). What should I do with it? It hurts me when I see it The only way is to delete good? Sad thing is I wrote to buyer and he answered something not related, like he doesn't want to talk or something. =========== UPD: 4 years later buyer was ready to talk issue was resolved Edited May 25, 2020 by Saltiveratia
Alwin Alcott
that review is from 2016 and you say you changed the properties yesterday? ..thats more than 4 years. This review is totally OK if the old item wasn't T.

If you delete it, you can't add it again with a new listing as that is a listing violation. Did you contact the buyer back in 2016 to discuss the item/review/perms? If you did and the issue was resolved then, you could add a reply under his review to explain how it was handled. That is good customer service

For future reference: If a review is truly wrong, you could open a Support ticket giving a link to the MP item & review, and explain why you think the review is wrong. If LL agrees, they will remove the review.

This should be the only way if the review is an opinion like they hated the product after using it. What are you going to do? Tell them their opinions are wrong and they should like it? That's only going to end badly. If it's an issue you could resolve with a customer, you can try that... but they might not want to talk and that should be respected. If you do resolve it, it's up to them whether they change the review or not. This would be things like the product was broken or they needed help understanding the instructions. Things not to do include deleting/relisting the product, posting replies to the review to shout at them, harassing the customer... anything like that. A few negative reviews is not going to make people hate you and avoid your products. Shady behaviour will. You can report reviews if they're utterly wrong, but they're not going to remove it for getting a detail wrong or an issue that existed and was fixed. That's not the same as putting a review for bananas on a car.
