Im a Little confused on one of the system requirements to run SL. I got a new laptop that has 1.44 GHZ atom -z8350 with 2GB ram and 32GB SSD harddrive. i dont think this laptop meets the minimum for it to work.

I don't think it does either.  That sounds like a Chromebook.

If one of your goals for your computer is to use it for SL, I'd return that one and consider something quite a bit more powerful.

says its a notebook. when I recieve it I will have  to return it. thank you. it looks like it meets the other minimum requirements though.

No, it does not. That's a tiny typing pad barely capable of videa playback - that means that it'll be even challenging to watch a YouTube video. Yes, do return it.

If you want a relatively suitable laptop and up to date laptop, which  is worth being called a laptop, look at configs with AMD Renoir. Brandnew and surprisingly nice setups by several OEM brands.

Perhaps check Lenovo's very own online store for offers.

thank you everyone. I just received my notebook and secondlife runs perfectly fine on it.
