Sheer sleeves look lovely... if you don't move. Am I missing something I should be doing? As soon as my AO or dance animation goes into motion, my elbows are sticking out. If I alpha out my arms, you can tell through the sheerness and it just looks weird. I have this one black dress that I worked around by wearing a long black gloves applier underneath. I figured from a distance, it would be less noticeable than flesh poking through, but since then I have avoided buying clothing with sheer sleeves. Basically just venting, but suggestions welcome or share your pet peeve.

I know the problem. 😬

I think the problem lies with the designer. When I try the demos I exercise the avatar using animations that move the body behind the shear parts. If I poke through, I don't buy. AFAIK, that is about the only thing to be done. 😕

You can always send the designer a note saying why you didn't buy. I do those now and then. I try to avoid negative criticism and keep it constructive.

I have a lot of different walks/stands/turns specially made to not interfer with clothing - I got them during my brief contact with pageants  (You get points subtracted if anything clips during the catwalk run or when posing/transitioning from one pose to another). So I have filled up my AO with these, and can switch to the appropriate movement pattern according to what I'm wearing. Shorter step lenghts for narrow skirts, arms further from the body for wide skirts etc... Most useful thing I got out of my few days as MIss SL Norway :D

So when I walk around wearing something like this, I select a walk and turns with restricted arm movements ...

My pet peeve - I do not like when the garments hovers inches over my shoulders,  shoulder straps not even touching the shoulders etc... And this is obviously especially noticeable when the arms/top part of the clothing is sheer!  The one above is not too bad - I actually think that one is as good as it get...

I suspect this is depending upon whether the designer have the official body development kit or not, as you can see this problem more often with smaller, less established brands...
