Beantwn
HI there, Started using my water horse again and find I am in need of some suggestions for great places to explore on horseback. Doesn't have to be specific to horseback riding. Both generally interesting sims to explore as well as ones that have good trails specifically for that reason 🙂 Anything you can recommend would be most greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance 🙂 Reyna
Seicher Rae
Bellisseria continent, for one. Full of roads and trails, and while it is primarily residential, there are plenty of things to see. I live there and just open up the map, find a road on a region and TP and go from there. If you like a little more structure there is a sight-seeing notecard or map somewhere, that I can't find the link for. (Sorry, but it is there.)Â

Gittrika Mint
Mainland roads are in general perfect for exploring from horseback, car, bike, pod etc 🤠

ChinRey
SImilar disclaimer to Sylvia's - you are more than welcome to visit my own Greater Coniston. It's a little bit more than two sims worth of land criss-crossed with paths and roads and also a starting point for exploring the Linden Roads all across Sansara. Not sure where the best spot to start would be... maybe here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Buttermere/95/137/22 There's also the Twisted Trail at the Janus Park in the sky above Coniston - http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Coniston/140/140/1801 - just a single sim sky platform but plnety of paths to ride along. 1

I've never had that problem while riding a horse there. Or driving a boat. A car or a scooter was impossible.
MoiraKathleen
Another place is the Calas Galadhon regions http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Calas Galadhon/142/230/22 Also, in Bellisseria there is still quite a few undeveloped regions around the new log home areas - good places for some open range riding.

I've traversed Bellisseria using every vehicle from giant crab under the see to hot air balloons in the sky. Cars. horses, boats, bikes, segways, roller skates, dolphins, unicycles, golf carts, helicopters, bubbles... I experience far more lag and much rougher region crossings on the old mainland.
Ceka Cianci
This has to be my favorite place to ride in SL.. This is a screenshot of the map, but you really need to look at the link to see all the wonders of this section of the mainlands.. The great wall is one that I believe you can ride in, but I know you can ride on top of for sure..it's an amazing ride.. The whole Atoll is really..So many roads and trails that it would take you forever and a day to try them all out.. The Heterocera Atoll here is the map but that link will give you the map and what each point is on the map ,plus links to those points..It'll give you plenty to look forward to and to do that's for sure..
