LL typically won't sell you roadside/protected land. They auction it off.

Interested buyers would NOT be interested in the surrounding land.  The parcel seems very well strategically situated in that respect.

of course not, abandoned means nothing in protection or strategical. You'r surrounded with possible sales every minute of the day.

Thank you  for your enlightening comments.  They have been a huge eyeopener.  I now see why you are an advisor.  

However, go look at the land before you share your thoughts.

I don't worry about it here, neither will the person who buys it.
