Always check the grid status.  There are issues currently

The Internet is experiencing widespread problems today...somebody cut some major fiber optic trunk lines

This wide a spread issue has the issue number.

This issue is 5+ hours old and am hope the technical gods at LL can soften it. Even if its a wider spread issue.

Yeah, I went to relog for smoother sailing because things were lagging where they usually don't, and then it was taking forever to log back in. I checked the grid status and was like, welp.... I'm all dressed up for a steampunk tea party and now I have nowhere to go!
