New Name

I changed my account name.  I have one of those vote boxes and when it IM's me (once a day) it says the box is owned by my old name. I checked inworld and it says under owner my new name.  Is this a bug and how do I fix it?

It depends if the name is directly in a message from the script, or if it's in the footer of an offline message.

The script probably gets the account name when it's rezzed and keeps it without checking again.  So in that case you could just rez a new vote box.  If it's a message from Linden Lab saying "Sent by Old Name", that could take about a day or two to switch to the new name.

Keiko, what happens if you reset the script in the voter box, take it back into Inventory, and then rez it again ?

Sounds like the vote box isn't resetting. Gotta contact the creator.

Could be tied to get your key and is returning the value from that too.  I bet there are some bugs in the system still that will be hammered out with thime
