What determines a land's "traffic numbers"?

Anyone know how a land's "traffic" (in the world > 'parcel detail') is determined by? and do land visits using lumiya count towards the "traffic"?

Lumiya would count. The exact details of how "traffic" is computed are kept secret (or at least used to be) to discourage gaming the system, but it's something like a count of the number of full minutes an agent is present on the parcel, assuming it's not a "scripted agent" (a registered bot). Ages ago, and several generations of forum software into the past, there was an extensive effort to reverse-engineer SL traffic calculations, back when traffic made a big difference to Search optimization.

(FWIW the Linden iOS client won't count as traffic because the associated agent will never be present at any particular location on the grid.)
