Lola Heartsong
Hi, I am currently trying to make a custom tattoo for my legacy female body and was wondering how to find the UV maps to do this? I've opened the create a style folder and the tattoo folder but I haven't found UV maps in there, I've only found templates. This is my first time trying to create something of my own to bring into Second Life so any tips and tricks are much appreciated! Thank you x
Sean Heavy
You can get UV Templates/Maps by Robin Wood here:https://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Technical/SL-Tuts/SLPages/AVUVTemplates.html They will be the most basic of templates, but will get you started. You will likely have to make minor adjustments to your tattoos for each specific body (Legacy). You might be able to view the textures for free, without uploading them, using the Firestorm local textures feature shown here: https://sldesigner.wordpress.com/local-textures/ ~Sean Heavy Edited April 9, 2020 by Sean Heavy

I've managed to make the tattoo and uploaded it, now for the difficult part of applying it 😧 Edited April 10, 2020 by mooniemocha misspelling
MaxMare
Legacy is SLUV compatible, so you should be fine using default maps...You can download their templates from official web site, but as there are no maps, just bits and pieces and considering you are interested in creating tattoos, you should be fine with SLUVs alone... btw, I`ve slowly been updating my products with BoM and have tested on Legacy, there were no issues and no adjustment needed, especially not for tattoos....texture seemed a bit scrunched at the waist section on the back, but again, it won`t create any problems for tattoos Edit: Just seen your reply, for application, they offer dev kit with applier script (and instructions how to make one) in the body folder, not sure if it comes with a demo...I`d definitely include BoM layers which are easy to make (new clothing/new tattoo and select your texture/name and done!)..
