Destination button doesnt work so how do Ieave help island??? Stuck

Totally stuck on Help Island... Destination Button malfunctioning saying (shows People).. Horrible SL experience so far...

Log out. When you go to log in, under mode, next to the green log in button, choose advanced instead of basic. Now you can go wherever you want. Pretty much almost.

Welcome to SL Blaquestar,

Basic Mode is to teach the basics of SL & one of the very basic things is that stuff breaks a lot lol

Treat it as your introduction to things in SL to make you go AAARGGHHH!!! Then logout and log back in in Advanced Mode where you will probably find more things that don`t do what they say on the box, but the good news is that tomorrow it will whole load of different things than it was today hehe

Learn to laugh at the madness and you will have a much more enjoyable SecondLife

If you are using the Second Life viewer from the webpage, you are in Basic mode.  This is to allow you to get used to SL before switching to Advanced at login (when you feel ready) and giving you ALL the controls.  There is a lot to learn to be able to work and play in SL, so newcomers have fewer controls until they are comfortable they've mastered the basics and can switch to advanced. 

For what it is worth to you, many of us here in SL had to do all this the hard way, with no help and no basic mode.  Today, as it was then, it's a little more complex than a hack/slash video game, yes.  But it is definately worth the effort to master the interface -- trust me.
