Texture perms

I have a question about setting texture permissions. Say I have a texture I want to allow someone else to use it as many times as they want, but I don't want them to be able to transfer just the texture itself.  If that is not possible, how does adding a watermark or alpha work?

I think just check the copy permission box for the texture, and leave the transfer permission box unchecked.

That sounds right for giving someone a texture to use but probably different when it comes to them using textures in question for builds they plan to sell? So i would probably have to some how protect the textures themselves.

You can give it to them under a licensing agreement... that's what most full perm texture merchants do.

Watermarking won't stop them from giving it away, or selling it, but it will help you prosecute them if you find out about it. You can Google it and probably find a bunch of tutorials on how to do it in the graphics program of your choice.
