how to pay tier to LL

Hello, I bought a land from the previous owner on mainland.  (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife//195/95/24)

I wonder how i can pay the tier. Is it taken automatically by LL from my credit card or do I have to pay it to somewhere?

How did you buy the land, @marc11111?

If you opened the About Land window (right click the ground, choose About Land.  Or, go the World menu, select Parcel Details) then the purchase process should have told you what tier level you'd be paying.  (Also, you have to be a Premium member to own Mainland).

If you just paid the current owner some $L directly, you don't actually own the land.  You're just renting it from the owner.  In that case, they'll generally want more $L, either weekly or monthly.

Unless, of course, it's a total scam and some con artist "sold" you land he doesn't actually own.

Check ownership by looking in the General tab of About Land.
