KahviKolyana Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 Trying several times to install the latest updated version of the Second Life viewer on 64x (Second_Life_6_3_5_533275_x86_64_Setup). It always stops with an error citing "Error opening file for writing" for the SecondLifeViewer.exe part of the installation. Furthermore, this update is apparently required for logging into Second Life at all at this point. What is the solution? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The current default version is Second_Life_6_3_8_538264_x86_64_Setup.exe. I just re-downloaded it and installed it without any problems. I didn't see the version number you mentioned even in the repository or project viewer releases.
