Now Would Be a Great Time for Second Life to launch Accredited Universities again? Thoughts?

Most of us have been to an abandoned campus that was impressive, but empty because the fad had died. With the current COVID-19 outbreak, and students and staff having to move off campus, and take online courses, it seems as though it might be a good time for universities to create virtual campuses again, not just classrooms, but quads and hangouts for students, which could also lead to them discovering more of Second Life.

Thoughts?

It might be worth approaching some universities about that. Stanford just told all their undergraduates "go home and don't come back. Everything will be online. Oh, and by the way, no tuition reduction for online-only."

i have seen at least one, maybe more , unique schools in SL  I would be interested in, but there never seem to be people answerig questions or doig anything about getting the course up and rolling. Its hard to find online courses like them in RL. That would be a great idea.. But with the economy now, free/volunteers or low cost..for starters..
