Looking for groups that holds discussions

I'm looking for active groups where the residents hold discussions around a varied range of topics or interests - I love meeting new people, so any groups you could post would be highly appreciated.

@Benjamin Opel You could perhaps try searching for groups containing 'Philosophy'.  Your post reminded me that I meant to investigate these myself but I simply forgot.

I've discovered groups of people discussing various topics I'm interested in just by searching on the topic. Often there are groups arranged around the topic, sometimes still in existence but other times not. I've messaged people in dead groups to discover there's a few people still meeting under another name, or without a formal group at all.

Try running your own discussion event. I used to hold weekly "discussions" that were little more than a bunch of people sitting around chatting about whatever. I'm thinking about doing it again. But then, I think about doing a lot of things.

Ah, I did actually take a look at this before, but must of forgot to join the groups! I've just emailed this to myself and will join these when I return home from work tonight! Thanks for that! 😎
