Sim radio

Hello,

I use to listen to my sim's radio a lot.

I get in local chat the known "Now playing: blah blah blah" about 3 times each minute.

Is it something my client (Firestorm) can block or is it station's side issue?

menu: Avatar \ Preferences \ Sound & Media \ Music \ Show stream title notifications \ Off

 

edit add:

some radio scripts fetch this info from the stream themselves, and say it to chat. Setting Firestorm to Off will not prevent this.  Usually tho such radio scripts have a Touch dialog menu option to Allow/Disallow the info being echoed to chat

Thank you so much, looks like its working after I set it to off.

You know, sometime ago the notices were coming only when a new song was playing. I cant guess what changed and it behaves like that.

It will repeat notification of the same song if there is a temporary break in connection, either yours or that for the stream itself.

Then maybe its the station, but I dont notice any disruptions to the songs
