I want a houseboat in Bellissaria. How long is the waiting list? Do I have to sell my land on the mainland before I get on the list? Yes, I am a premium member.

There is no waiting list. Houses become available as current owners decide to leave them and move to other homes, or as Linden Lab creates new ones.  The lab is releasing about one new region full of homes per day, and occasionally releases a large block all at once. Follow threads in the Linden Homes subforum of this forum, specifically this one

I can no longer afford a Premium subscription so how do I get rid of my land please.

Leila, in the Linden viewer

stand on your land

then menu: World \ About Land \ General (tab)

if you have a classic mainland parcel then try to sell it.   Press the Sell Land button and set it for sale to Anyone for some amount of L$. If nobody buys it before your next due tier date then abandon it, (as below)

if you have a Linden Home then you can't sell it. Press the Abandon Land button

Remember that your Premium membership is prepaid, so even after you sell or abandon your land and tell LL that you want to downgrade, you will still have all premium benefits until the end of the period that you have paid for. Linden Lab will not offer you a refund.
