A lovely walk with Joanna Newson

Do you love me?
Will you remember?
The snow falls above me
The renderer renders:
The event is in the hand of God
Beneath a patch of grass, her
Bones the old Dutch master hid
While elsewhere Tobias
And the angel disguise
What the scholars surmise was a mother and kid
Interred with other daughters
In dirt in other potters' fields
Above them, parades
Mark the passing of days
Through parks where pale colonnades arch in marble and steel

I loved this song in the movie, But wow were they great live..

I swear if they didn't hook up at some point then nobody has.. hehehe

They just look like they are so into each other, especially when he goes over and sits with her..

I was like, omg they have to be.. hehehe

Either way, this was just really good.

Wayfaring Stranger -- Hyde Bluegrass Orchestra

I don't usually pay much attention to vocal music -- I often find that I have to focus too hard to catch the words -- and bluegrass isn't normally a style I prefer.  However, this recording is really well done and hauntingly compelling.

Right back atcha, Sis!

There was a terrific sale on Cheerios, Goldfish, and Teddy Grahams at the market this week. I bought up everything I was allowed and dumped it immediately into the family sharing bin. Well, almost all of it. I "accidentally" took home one box of Chocolate Teddy Grahams and a bag of Flavor Burst Goldfish.

Don't tell anyone.

Thank you, Maddy. That's an old favorite, shared widely among those of us who have made a living out of thermodynamics.  I had only forgotten -- if I ever knew it -- that it probably started with Flanders and Swann.  I should have guessed. The next logical step from hippopotomi, after all, is heat transfer (It's all in the mud, or the blood, as it were.)
