How do I change Web Browser

Question

When I hit a link to see a web page it goes to google chrome. I can not find a setting anywhere to change which browser it goes to. How do I change the setting to a differant browser. I appreciate any help. I use the regular sl viewer. The browser I want it to go to is Firefox.

Is Firefox set as your DEFAULT browser on your computer? I am pretty sure it the viewers use whatever the default browser is. If that is NOT the case then you should chat up the Firestorm inworld support group. Link in the viewer under HELP up in the top menu.

The internal browser is a version of Chrome.  If you want to use your regular web browser, go into Preferences/Network and Files, Connection sub-tab.  Make sure you have "use the default system browser for all links" checked.  This will open your browser in a window OUTSIDE the viewer, so you may have to temporarily re-size your viewer on your screen so you can see both the SL viewer and your browser.
