Need some help with remaining tier allotment

Hey all. So here is my dilemma. I have 512 of my premium land allotment on a camper in Bellisseria. And absolutely zero clue how to use/rent/acquire the other half. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

You don't have to do anything specific to "acquire" it - it's there ready for you to use when you decide how you want to use it.

There are choices as to how it can be used:

You could look for a 512 sqm parcel to buy on mainland (you'd need to pay the purchase price, but after that there would be no recurring monthly cost as long as you only had the 512 in Bellisseria and the 512 mainland parcel). 

You could look into some of the rental companies that rent out mainland parcels - I think there is at least one which will let you donate the 512 sqm tier as a credit for renting a parcel .

You could donate tier to a non-profit type group which has mainland holdings and depends on people donating tier to their group in order for them to be able to keep their holdings - I'm thinking about some of the newcomer friendly organizations that have mainland locations for newcomer help, classes, hang-outs, etc.

You could save it unused in case you want to move from the camper to one of the Bellisseria homes which are  on 1024 sqm parcels (or to one of the new themed housing when the next new theme is ready).

You could buy a larger than 512 sqm parcel on mainland, and use the 512 to offset part of the monthly tier billing for the larger parcel which takes you over the 1024 sqm total threshold.

1 - World Map > tick land for sale box.

2 - click the $L sign on the map to see details and price.

3 - double click the map to visit and if you like and want to buy the plot right click the ground and choose Buy land.

This is not the only way to buy land. I think the land auctions page is still valid too. By the way, some people are asking 20 lindens per metre or more, others are selling their land as cheap as 0.4 linder per metre. Don't rush into buying the first plot you see ! Visit and check the fps firstly, then check for low junk in the sky and other stuff that might put one off purchasing. Enjoy ! ps - Once you tire of your plot you can right click it, and choose Sell ! Simples !

If you have not purchased mainland before, but may be interested in doing so, there is a very good class in-world at Caledon Oxbridge University. The class is free, and it goes over how to find land, things to look for when examining a parcel to be purchased, selling land, and so forth.  When I took the class, we even went on a field trip to several parcels for sale, so we could have hands on experience with some of the things we were learning about.  The class in on Saturdays at 12 noon SLT.
