Install Viewer on macOS Catalina

Is it possible to install Viewer on macOS Catalina? The system doesn't accept the installation because it isn't possible for apple to look after Spyware etc

Yes, when you try to run it and the Mac refuses to run it, open System Preferences, and in the security and privacy pane, click the button to open SL anyway.
