I didn't realize she had her own YouTube channel, but I shouldn't be surprised. Chapo Trap House, generally, serves a kind of useful purpose: it's subversive as hell, populist, and vulgar, and occasionally even funny. It is not however anything anyone would mistake for serious or thoughtful political commentary. And it targets the Democrats, and centrist liberals at least as much, if not more, than it goes after Trump and the Republicans. The odds of a liberal revolution in America, yet alone a socialist one, seem to be receding with every passing day. I think the Republic will remain securely grounded in the very best political principles and ideology that the late 18th century had to offer.
