2020 Resolutions

If you like to make New Year resolutions, you can get a head start by dreaming some up now; that gives you time to change your mind to something more realistic.  

Here's mine.  I resolve to move somewhere that lets me see the sky all the way to the horizon.

I have a resolution for 2020 and it's actually a SL project, to create a set of tarot cards entirely using SL images. I reckon it will take me more than a year to complete it, if I ever do.

I think my New Years Resolution will be 11520x2160. Because I've been rocking 5760x1080 for too long.

Lubbock.

1.  Get my inventory back down to under 30K.  Last seen in the great inventory clean up of 2017/8  and crept up to 60K now. If I break it into 3 K chunks per month it sounds doable. My alt, the cow has less than 14K all in a lovely folder system.   

2.  Make time to go exploring and dancing which is something we say we will do at least once a week and rarely get round to.

If that's Lubbock in Texas then sadly I'll never make it.  There is a small crater on the Moon called Lubbock, which has a break in its wall, so I expect you could see the horizon.  It's even less likely I'll get there though.

There’s a reason for that, except Lubbock is flatter. 

Lived in TX most of my life and just recently drove through there on my way to Santa Fe.  It lived up to its reputation.

8. HorrorAddicts.net, RL and SL blogging and podcasting
9. Clockhaven Aquarium
10. Start vlogging. Y’all in trouble.  
11. Dark Alice. Rebuild
12. Tomanah Hall - dupe the layout including elevations, stick the club stuff in a rezzer, get techno and other single dances. Plan events. Paris, other live singers and entertainers, my own dj sets, Kaia and other DJs who compose and mix. Mr Pearse. 

work on SL Bucket List, short term, long term.

Review 2019 bucket list items I accomplished.

1. learned to stream
2. learned to make and use materials
3. volunteered for Fantasy Faire
4. hosted a live entertainment event
5. costume mistress at Ballet Pixelle, (ongoing)...re-costumed more things. Who counts? 
6. learned to MC and change the stage sets for Ballet Pixelle
7. project ‘sort, optimize, trash’ (SOT because it drives one to drink) got started, which helped keep inventory under 100k. Barely.

If I recall correctly, Lubbock also has watermelons.  At least it did 30 years ago, which is the last time I remember passing through.  That's the only highlight that I remember from that part of the trip.  .....  No, wait .... I also remember driving quickly through a tiny town named Dirt, somewhere in the panhandle.  If I remember right, it had lots of dirt.

I do not make resolutions, but I do make wishes... I wish I could be more outgoing and social in this coming decade.  I wish to laugh more andtake things less seriously and at least get one date..

Why do you dislike it in the US? Aside from the crazy pumpkin man in the white house, I love my country.  I have been to 43 states here. Loved them all. Except Tx, something always happened passing through Tx and it usually involved tires, trees or to small rv parking spaces.

   1: I shall try not to frighten friends and co-workers, whom I know to be caulrophobes, by sending them clown gifs. Try. But it's so much fun!

   2: I shall clean my inventories of old things that I no longer need, and reorganize them - I've gotten sloppy these past months, and it's no fun muddling through it.

   3: It is my goal to produce one full set of poses every fortnight, and a free 'pose of the month' for my store. But, as we all know, things happen, so there's no point making a proper resolution about it. But I suppose 'find a plot of land and build a store' can go on the list.

   ... Meh. I'll leave everything else as-is, I don't really have any vices to tackle. Maybe 'commit more sins'?

2020 resolution seems a bit too much for me. I usually go for 512 and even use 256 or less whenever possible and 1024 only when it really makes a difference.

I would like to do more collaborations on taking photos. I have a huge list of suitable victims. I just need to make more effort. And to keep up my current collaborations.

Taking photos is my one consistent pleasure in SL. Meeting up to take photos is simply the best fun.

I'm gonna say,spending less time on the internet and more time doing other things..

I've been catching myself stopping doing something to jump on the net to check out things..Then going back and finishing what i had started..

It's much more rewarding to finish what i started,then when things are done for the day,get on the net..

So I'm gonna work on that,because I think i can achieve that..

ETA: Just to add,it's not the 1st yet,so I still have another day..

My SL resolution is to reach out to people on my friend list that I haven’t spoken to in a while. I get in the habit of doing my own solitary thing, because introversion, and I want to try to be a bit more social. 
 

In RL I am going to try to go full vegetarian.

My 2 resolutions for 2020:

1:  Get down to 250 pounds (from around 280 now) by my wedding on May 4.

2:  Not get into political debates with people about Trump.

Yeah, I doubt I'll make either of them happen, but a man can dream, right?
