Avastar animation height

Is it possible to make an animation to look like floating in the air while the avatar is actually just standing and not flying?

I want to make a floating upright animation, but nothing I tried really worked for me. When I previewed the animation my avatar was still standing on the ground.

What I tried was to move all bones on z axis up  and applying loc rot scale, but that didnt work.

Wulfie up here is right: applying thos transforms makes them their new zero values. What you should do, instead, is to insert a key frame for location and rotation. Scale isn't needed as that's scraped off upon export, because SL doesn't animate it since scale is used for other purposes.
