Hello i need to tell you something important.
i would just like to say that when i first came to sl my dream was to have an amusement park that i could shier with everyone here in sl.
and i went a long time before i had that dream come true.
 but eventually it happened.

in fact the first ride i ever got was a dark ride and  that was just at a bar i was djing at no park with it,
but that is where it really all started.
later on down the line as i got more rides later.
eventually as i said the dream became to be a virtual reality.
  like i always wanted.
i didn't and still don't have enough money to buy land or rent land for a park and so i over the Years would meet up with people that wanted a park on there land to attract people to their club or store or what ever,
but it always would eventually fall through.
i would get the park built on their land and the longest it would last is about a week.

then the land would get sold without anyone telling me or like the one time a whole group i was apart of got land and said i could put a park there.
then all of the sudden after about a week or so.

i was building a new ride one day next thing i know i am out of a park.
cause the people that were paying stopped without letting me know.
over the years i have had about maybe 5 parks all fell through like that.
and dynasty's kingdom is the first park that has ever lasted.
its going on to about i think 13 ,14 years now.
and how dynasty's kingdom got started is i put an ad in sl saying
i don't have money to get land to start another park .
but i would like to build a park on someones land that needs one.
well this real east or estate owner contacted me saying she wanted me to build my park on her land

and all i would have to do is advertises at the park on a billboard or something i agreed and that was the deal.
and that is how dynasty's kingdom happened.
and it was great.
and i told her my stories of trying to get a park going but it always falling thru eventually.
and she said that she had been in sl with that land since 2005 and she said that she was not going anywhere.
well i beloved that. and for many years she did not go anywhere.
and my park never fall on bad times until more recent.
i thought the park was in trouble awhile back.

it turned out i was not going to lose it cause the guy i was talking to
was talking about getting the land next door that my land lord lea had.
also.
and he had seen her store there and thought it was mine and said it had to go.

well i misread thought he was talking about the park.
but we talked and i found that that was not the case.
then everything was fine. until last tuesday.
all of the sudden i logged in and i get this message that kept popping up
such and such an object will not rezz cause owner will not allow it

and i thought ok i guess i must not have the group to the land activated.
so i check and it showed that the group to the land i had it activated had the tag on.
but i could not rezz anything and i could not fly.

here they were turned off i thought that was strange cause for me they were not supposed to be.
tried to contact my landlord by message  and note twice
still never heard from her.
tried to contact her partner about it heard nothing
tried everyone in her group hoping someone maybe could help me or at least
contact her. as you know i even asked you all here if some of you could try to contact her.

i only heard from one person from her group and they said that they did not know her.
then tonight i checked the land to see if she still had it.
well her name was not on the land anymore
the group that i am in is still around but its not on the land anymore
and in owner of land it says guy linden instead of Leia Lulu
now here is the thing about Guy Linden

here is what the profile said Hello!  I work primarily with the Linden Mainland, abandoned land and auctions.  If you have an issue with land, please detail the concern specifically in a support case.and that is what it said just to give you all an idea where he is coming from.

now this guy as you see deals in abandoned land and he is a linden.
which means the land that my park sits on is abandoned.
and the only way that could be is if lea up and left it without telling me. witch means the lindens are gonna want to take the land back

witch means that my park is doomed but the weird thing is even though i cannot fly or build. all the rides and everything i put here at dynasty's kingdom is still here no one returned anything to me.

which i am glad but i find it strange.
i don't know what is going on i am scared for the park.
but i think it is just a matter of time before things start getting returned
i do not know when it will happen but i think it will at some point.
i put a lot of time and effort into this park.
and i even in more recent years started bringing rides from rl that were gone.. back to life here at the park
like some of the bill tracy rides like the wacky shack.
and i have plans for more of those,
but until this mess gets straighten out i can not do anything  except invite you all to the park and watch over it and that is pretty much it.
cant do much when you cannot rezz things or fly.
if a ride malfunctions i cant fix it.
thank you for your time in reading this.
and  so if you or someone you know or if you could help me let me know
   I'd appreciate it
. if you can find someone who wants a park on their land to draw a crowd to their place for whatever reason i can advertise for you what ever agreement you want to make,
 someone out there let me
know what you can do please.
here is the lm to were the park is currently if you'd like to see it

You need to buy your own land to avoid all the problems you have cited. Rentals are cheaper, but owning your own land has certain advantages. It might mean your fairgrounds are smaller, but they are your own and you can't be ejected from them because the landlord didn't pay tier. It's a buyers' market where you can get land very cheap, entire sims, off the auction even for half a Linden per meter.

It would be best if you bought THAT abandoned land in Schizura for $1/m directly from the Lindens because your rides are there. File a ticket with support and do that, and don't look for others to make your dream and pay for your dream -- you truly will get more satisfaction of building your dream when you pay for it yourself.

The Lindens will indeed return the builds from abandoned land but they get busy and it doesn't always happen at once. But it will.

As to your request here, I personally would not be interested in providing anyone land for free or even for rent to put up fairgrounds. Why? Because I have a small one of my own already in Baileya called "Coney Island of the Mind". I don't need more. It's a lot of prims, and the reality is, very few people every come on the Ferris Wheel or Bumper Cars or Slides, although they do work the fortunes and the merry-grounds sometimes. But then the rentals around the sim are what get the tier paid -- otherwise, I wouldn't have this. Tier needs to be paid and if you can't pay for it, do less, or go to Open Sim (although the problem there is that there are few people to see your build.)

But more to the point, I'm acutely aware of the years my friend Clubside Granville spent building and maintaining a large and attractive fairgrounds with rides on the Moth Continent (Hetero- etc.) I used to rent a store from him to help supported it because he put tier in my group for a fishing village nearby. He and I and others did everything to promote that area with rids and shopping and food and dancing, and he tried to get the tier paid with store rentals and sales of content, but *there just was not enough interest in fairgrounds to sustain that business idea*.

People don't want to go to fairs in SL. There are a lot of reasons for this. The rides are not that compelling in a world where you can fly; they can be laggy; and people have other interests.

The Lindens compete with you on this front with their Fairgrounds in Pyri that have a very compelling game/quest.

But again, even if you build a 512 flea circus, the sense of pride and accomplishment you will feel from paying your own way will be worth it. Make rides for sale as one way to get tier paid.

There's also a very elaborate Mole amusement park spanning Weston and Oak Bluffs in Bay City. Hardly anyone ever goes there. Also there's a kind of Linden boardwalk with arcade and assorted "fairground" stuff in Rizal. It too is pretty much always empty.

I checked in on Schizura and yeah, it looks as if the Lab is getting ready to clear the land and declare it abandoned.

On the plus side, the Schizura amusement park installation is not particularly laggy -- some amusement park rides are physics-heavy and lag the sim. (Right now for example Xanthorhoe, just a few sims from Schizura, is suffering from physics lag due to an old timey midway ride. That's in stark contrast to Schizura.) So if a home for the content can be found, neighbors shouldn't have reason to complain about the lag.

I never even heard of that Mole Park. But then, I almost never go to Bay City.

I get the impression you just tl;dr that. So in short...

1) Make rides and sell them.
2) Use that money to buy a premium account / pay tier.
3) Expand as you make more money.

I had to cut down on land when my finances changed, but I make enough from selling things to keep my premium account (which covers my shop land in the free tier) and have money left over to spend. You can still do something fun with small spaces.

There's also the option of setting up temporary fairs at events that have exhibit space.

Dynasty I have to agree with the others

sell your rides on Marketplace. Get some money from this which will give you something to pay upload fees as you improve or build new rides.  And in time you might get enough from this to buy/rent your own land

while it might seem that not many people go to amusement parks, lots of people buy rides to put on their parcels, just to have for their own enjoyment

Once? If you're serious you have to go back multiple times and look all over. You can get abandoned land from the Lindens for just $1/meter or even less on the auctions. You have to really want to do this, and it seems you are unsure. Land is not expensive. It's dirt cheap. Tier is more costly, but if you start small and make sales it is manageable.

I love amusement parks, and even had a few back in the day.  I've even

got a rare copy of a discontinued item, a wonderful. replica of

the Coney Island Wonder Wheel, and an elaborate carousel by the same creator

to boot.  But folks are right:  You won't get

many visitors.  So don't do it to get money, as that will most likely not manifest itself.  Do it for you, and

the enjoyment you get from it.  But yeah, you're gonna need to buy

land and pay tier for that.  And don't let the usual grumpy folks who like to

piss on everyone else's fun discourage you.  That includes not just your dreams, but whatever it

is that makes your text come out the way it does.  What a petty thing to

fuss

about.  I for one liked it, as the formatting reminded me of

poetry.  🙂
